Summary: We were coming to visit my brother and family in South Bend, and we thought to try out a new venue rather than simply a hotel. We're very glad we did. This house is beautiful, literally an art gallery and a living gem. In spite of some miscommunication between Hotels.com and the property (didn't get an email for the code to unlock the door due to a break in communication between Hotels.com and the property) we got in contact very quickly with the property manager and were delighted with the interior of the house. We wish we had more time to simply sit and take in the entire place. Our room was clean and well-maintained. If you love older houses in South Bend, you will not be disappointed here at Art and Lodging. It was also very quiet, a nice place to relax and enjoy the ambience.
