The house suite has 1 car garage, 2 Queen beds, 1 twin bed and a couch, 1 bath & shower, the kitchen, and a private furnished fenced back yard. This historic Galveston home suite was completely renovated in 2017 and updated to a modern style in July 2018 without losing the historic look.
AWorldAway is a beautiful home with very good bones! She's weathered the Great Storm of 1900, Ike and Harvey, and now stands ready to welcome you to enjoy the quiet and casual elegance. AWorldaway has her outside looks historic, while inside has the comforts and conveniences of modern life abound! This historical house suite renovation AWorldAway literally left no surface untouched.
The front door is on the first floor with a seating area overlooking the intersection of Avenue M 1/2 and 18th Streets. The front master suite has a large size couch, the coffee table and an island inspired queen sized bed with matching nightstands, a 43" 4K TV with X1 Xfinity Cable, Netflix, many other TV apps, 2 walls with 4 large windows which come with blinds and full drapes shears so you can choose to let the sun shine in or you can hide from the light! Follow by the bathroom that is open to the main gallery and it serves guests from both the first front entry bedroom and the second bedroom, as well as visitors. Is a full sized tub & shower surrounded by some bright light and colors, vanity & mirror, toilet, towel tower with bath towels, hand towels and washcloths, and towel bars. We have also provided hand and body soap, shampoo and conditioner, and toilet paper, you can find extra ones under the sink. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin bed set with comfty mattresses that can sleep two to three people, a dresser with lots of drawers, a desk for the convenience of an office work place or just lay your laptop. The closet is in this 2nd bedroom, for you to store all the stuff you brought for the vacation and all the new stuff you'll find shopping at The Strand while in town! It has hangers, iron, ironing board and a clothes hamper, to make all your clothes easy to unpack and get to during your stay!
The master suite, living area, bathroom, dining and kitchen are in a great room that runs the width of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook, with a microwave, electric range and oven, toaster, blender, pots and plates, bowls, mugs, glasses (glass and plastic), utensils, cooking wares, storage containers and a french door fridge/freezer with ice and water through the door.
There is also a dishwasher, with dishwasher soap provided in the cabinet over the washer and dryer for the safety of the kids. Liquid soap in the counter mounted pump.
