Perched high atop the Blue Ridge Mountains in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, come experience peaceful tranquility in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin with miles and miles of views. The cabin is located less than 200 yards from the Shenandoah National Park boundary and 12 miles north of Luray Caverns, and 18 miles south of I-66 in Front Royal. Cabin is located on a hilly gravel road in the foothills of The Blue Ridge Mountains, overlooking the Shenandoah Valley below, so AWD or 4x4 is required.
While soaking in the breathtaking views, you can also enjoy the kitchen with refrigerator with ice-maker, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. As you make your way through the living room with vaulted ceilings covered in southern ponderosa pine, there is a beautifully crafted stone fireplace equipped with a 50 inch flat screen TV with satellite. The bedrooms will welcome you for a restful nights sleep with queen sized beds while possibly curling up with a good book until you get sleepy. The cabin is furnished with rustic country decor. You can eat in or grill out on the spacious back deck, filling up with food and nature at its finest.
You can experience many kinds of wildlife from the deck, or you can take a hike in the woods on one of the numerous Shenandoah National Park trails, or enjoy the day floating and fishing the Shenandoah River. There are rabbits, squirrels, bear, deer, turkey, pheasants, and grouse for you to admire. To complete your day, curl up in front of the stone fireplace or relax in the 6 person hot tub on the back patio while enjoying the spectacular views and sounds of the valley below. This cabin is equipped with standby generators so that you never lose comfort in your stay in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Cabin is located on a gravel road, so we highly recommend AWD or 4x4. Check in is 4pm, check-out is 11am. Kitchen is equipped with side-by-side fridge, stove with glass top and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, basic pots, pans, skillets and cooking utensils. It is also equipped with plates, silverware and cups/glasses. Renter is responsible for bringing food/drinks, soaps, shampoo’s, health and beauty products, toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, and trash removal etc. Bed and bath linens provided. We recommend bringing oversized beach towels if you plan to use the hot tub. Be sure to take all trash with you, do not leave outside because of animals, there are recycling centers to the north and south on route 340, however these will most likely be closed on Sundays and holidays
