Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel had a modern industrial feel. The staff was friendly and somewhat helpful. Housekeeping was excellent! The hotel bar was also excellent. And we enjoyed the water stations. Breakfast was good as well. Location was good with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Negative: Just a coincidence I'm sure, but the internet was down when we tried to check in. We dropped our bags at a friend's room and checked in later. The fire alarm went off while we were at the bar one evening. Again, not necessarily the hotels' fault, but annoying still. The coffee machine in the room was nice, but the coffee cups were too small for the larger pods. The lighting in the rooms was a little confusing (three-way switches maybe?) The motion detection will turn on the bathroom lights, which is great at night, but it'll go out while you're in the shower. And there were no luggage carts when we went to leave. Also, the valet parking is $50 per night!!! So, we parked in a parking garage down the street.

Summary: Was okay, but will probably try something else next time.
