With over 1100 SF of living space above, and 700 SF below, there is ample room to spread out and enjoy your family retreat.
Unwind or grill on the back deck with private mountain valley views, and peeks and sounds of the rushing Ducktrap River below. Walk out from the lower level onto the natural crushed stone private patio overlooking protected forest land.
A nature lover's dream with bald eagles, ospreys and hawks soaring above the valley, hummingbirds & butterflies frolicking around the home, and the occasional pileated woodpecker for those keeping their eyes peeled.
The home allows a comfortable stay for up to 7 guests. The upper level offers a master bedroom w/ king bed and private full bath (shower), a second bedroom with queen bed, and a second full bath (shower) in the hallway. The lower level offers two twin beds and a full size futon. Both levels offer Maine-built Jotul cast iron gas stoves for adjustable flickering warmth on cozy evenings. Wall-mounted flatscreen TV’s, refrigerators and microwaves are also provided on both levels. Washer & dryer (w/folding table) in the lower level. A/C and Forced Hot Air, and plenty of closet space.
River's Ledge is partof a small private community offering a shared tennis/pickleball court, pool with lounge chairs and fire pit. Walk the private nature trail to over 2000 ft. of Ducktrap River frontage or enjoy swimming, fishing, and beachcombing for sand dollars at the quaint ocean beach just a 10 minute walk away. A short drive from the many restaurants, shops and sights of Lincolnville Beach, Camden and Belfast. Or take a day trip to experience the beauty of Mt. Desert Island where whale watching, biking, hiking or walking the downtown shops of Bar Harbor is just 90 minutes away.
River's Ledgeis equipped with all the necessities for your stay. The kitchen has everything needed to enjoy home meals around the large farm table with pots, pans, dishes, utensils and glassware. Coffee Maker with complimentary Green Tree Coffee of Lincolnville is offered for your enjoyment. Ample Towels (bath and beach) for all guests are included as well as Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Dishwashing & Laundry Detergent, and Bath Products (soap and shampoo).
