This delightful "L" shaped original beach cottage is located on East Beach just a block from the 6th Street beach access. With multiple entrances this home is nestled under graceful live oaks, a beautiful custom designed salt water pool greets you as you enter the front gate. The cottage, built in the late ‘40s, is renovated with fun beach decor, tile floors throughout and an upgraded kitchen. The spacious den features a huge wood burning fireplace with a 42” plasma television above the mantle. A cozy second den is off the kitchen and dining room. The 3 bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage, and there are two and one half baths.
This home has a large pool with the option to heat. As you can see in the photos, the pool is under a canopy of a majestic live oak tree known for falling leaves. We do our best to keep it clean but it may require a skimming now and again, during your stay. Heating the pool must be arranged ahead of time. Contact our office for details.
The home will accept pets for a $250 non-refundable pet fee.
St. Simons is a very special, family-friendly place and there’s a lot to do. In addition to enjoying the pool, you can stroll the quiet East Beach neighborhood or take the short walk to the beach, watch the wild life on the marsh or hop on your bikes for an easy ride to the Village. Additionally, there is a very large public swimming pool complex at the Village, a great miniature golf course and a kids' playground. The island also has a skateboard park. And don't forget there's delicious dining all over the Island.
Please note: Parking for the home located in the front outside of the gate. Alley parking is not an option but is the best place to unload!
