This 1900s farmhouse sits less than half a mile from the small town of Monson and the shores of Lake Hebron. It's a wonderful setting come summer or winter, where you can meet up with the Appalachian Trail two miles west or go snowmobiling right from the property. Spend your days fishing and boating on Moosehead Lake (14 miles), skiing Big Squaw Mountain (21 miles), rafting the Kennebec River (33 miles), or exploring the 100 Mile Wilderness.
In the sparkling summer months, make yourself at home in the lovely outdoor spaces. Take afternoon naps in the hammock, play tag with your kids at the edge of the woods, and barbecue on the gas grill with a view of the distant mountains. In the evenings, roast s'mores and tell stories in the warmth of the firepit.
Step inside by way of a three-season porch - a serene spot to begin summer mornings with a cup of coffee and a seat in a rocking chair.
