This highly desirable downtown home is a piece of history, built in early 1900’s! Beautiful character inside and out, approximately 2800 square feet and just 5 blocks to Sherman Avenue where you can enjoy restaurants, entertainment, and boutiques as you head to the lake.
There are 3 bedrooms: 2 large rooms upstairs and 1 small room on the main floor. There are three size beds to choose from: king, queen and a full.
There’s a dining room, living room with a 55" TV and sitting room with a wood burning fireplace to enjoy on the main floor. The kitchen is stocked with the basic cooking amenities. In addition, there is a finished basement with a 65" TV, a small bar and a poker table. You'll also find the washer and dryer in the basement.
The house has a fenced in grassy yard where the kiddos can play and if you need a pack n’ play or high chair, we’ve got you covered. Located in the historic garden district, you can enjoy people watching on the front porch swing as people make their way downtown to the lake or public beaches.
The neighborhood….
Locally known as the historic “Garden District” this house is one of many homes built in the early to mid-1900’s you’ll find on your walks through the established neighborhood. Mature, gorgeous trees line the streets and are a must-see in the fall. Phippeny Park is just a few blocks north, and McEuen park with it’s large playground, splash pad and basketball courts is just south.
Getting around…
Walking to downtown and the lake is the easiest option. If you prefer to drive, you’ll find lots of free street parking, and many parking lots where you pay by the hour (usually less than $5 an hour).
Other details to note…
There are two sets of stairs in the house and the set going down to the basement area is fairly steep with no door or child gate. (just something to consider before booking if you have kiddos)
