Summary: Overall, the house was average. Decorations were cute and location was good for what we needed. Owners graciously provided a bottle of wine and some treats. They also permitted us to extend check out by one hour which was very helpful. Downstairs wasn’t that clean. None of the beds had a flat sheet on them so right when we’re all exhausted and ready for bed, we had to get linens out of the closet to add flat sheets to the three beds. My child accidentally locked the bathroom door with no one in it and we were locked out of the bathroom for the night. Surprisingly there was no tool kit nor small bathroom key anywhere to be found (you know the kind normally stashed above the bathroom/bedroom door frame/trim). A trip to Lowes to buy one early the next morning was needed since the owner said they didn’t have one. I would recommend that the owners provide a phone number to call or text if there is an emergency like this where the renter needs help. We had to communicate through email which isn’t the fastest. Lastly, I think that the cost per night for this location is very over priced.
