This is a newly renovated unit with a private entrance and private deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound from the brand new private deck with table and chairs. This unit includes the entire top floor above DVO Salvo Surf Shop. There is a private entrance that includes a bathroom, queen bedroom, kitchenette, new appliances, kitchen table w/ chairs and living room with a futon couch and large tv. Everything was completely gutted and presents as brand new in 2024.
Along with modern amenities such as granite countertops and lvp flooring, this unit also includes use of DVO Salvo rental equipment.
You may have one item if you are staying 3 days or two if staying a week or more of non-electric rental equipment checked out at any time including bikes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards , surfboards, bodyboards, beach equipment, and much more. Check out mydvo.com for more info on equipment we rent. The 1 or 2 pieces of non-electric equipment is complimentary. You may also rent additional equipment at 20 percent off while staying here. You can also receive a 20 percent discount on retail purchases from the surf shop.
Equipment may be reserved or checked out at any time. We usually have all categories of equipment available for check out during 9-6 business hours (10-5 off season) but can only guarantee availability if reserved in advance. You may also turn in equipment and check out other equipment upon return (ex.- turn in two bikes after a morning ride and check out two surfboards for an afternoon surf) or reserve equipment on a daily basis ( ex- reserve 1or2 kayaks on Monday, 1 or 2 bikes on Tuesday, 1 or 2 paddle boards on Wed, etc…). We try to be as flexible as possible on providing you with the beach toys you wish for when you want them but we do occasionally run out of certain categories of equipment on rare occasions during peak business season so we recommend as much advance notice of which gear you are interested in in order to guarantee it will be available when you request it.
Please submit any rental requests in the host/ guest comment thread after selecting instant booking and we will follow up with a confirmation that the equipment will be reserved for you on requested dates.
We are a short 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the sound.
There is a stack washer dryer available that is shared between this and two other units.
WiFi is included with two smart TV’s available.
Enjoy all there is to enjoy on Hatteras Island in a clean affordable setting with lots of amenities.
Only one pet allowed for $25 per night pet fee. Please contact the host if you wish to bring in more than one pet. Linens and towels are not included in the base rate. You may rent linens for $20 and towels for $18 for entire stay or bring your own Linens for the Bed, Futon and Bathroom Linens Also you may request a Early Check In to get in your rental as soon as possible but guaranteed entry by 1P.M. instead of the standard 4 P.M. Check In time for an additional $50 FEE which will be added to your Base Rate if you choose the Early Check In Option . Please specify upon booking and reading , acknowledging and filling all required fields on the house rules agreement and signing it before returning it ,Kindly let us know if you will be planning to bring a pet or pets as well as if you would like to reserve these these items- Options so we can plan ahead to secure your comfort and relaxation , any additions will be added to your base rate .
