As best we know this old house started off sometime around 1840 as a tiny one room dwelling with a small attic loft like space - perhaps for sleeping. Now the dining area.
Then a one room-over-one room house was constructed - later 1800’s - where the current first floor bedroom and upstairs dressing room/shared bath. Odds and ends were connected up over the years - and now there’s a bright waterside kitchen and sitting area - a living room - and two more upstairs bedrooms.
There are two waterside decks and a screened porch. A covered front porch w cozy rocking chairs. All in all - full of charm and whimsy!
The house is very private - 5+ acres w clearings/woods and 500’ of waterfront. All rooms have water views. Swimming and water activities right off the pier!
Surrounded by nature - you’ll see ospreys, blue herons, egrets and an occasional bald eagle. You can crab off the dock - we’ll have pots for you. And for the adventuresome - fresh Tidewater oysters floating in baskets too!
