We're excited to share our furnished guest space. We live in the main, separable part of the house and are delighted for you to use our guest space as a home base for which to decompress or explore the city!
The space
Private 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Suite complete with a convenient kitchenette (includes a mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle & dishes/silverware!), desk, backyard & much more!
The shared house entrance opens into the laundry room that leads to separate doors to the main house, and into the private guest bathroom and spacious bedroom. The bedroom has a large window for natural lighting and plenty of room for yoga, mediation, or chilling with a book... Or take it outside and enjoy the fresh air on a bench in the courtyard.
Guest access
Parking is public on the street (usually right alongside our property), from there you will go up the driveway, through the shared back door, and into a shared laundry room. To the right are the doors to your Guest Space and another to the Guest Bathroom. Feel free to use the courtyard -- though be aware of the yard's slightly uneven terrain.
The neighborhood
Oak Tree Shopping Center with Pilgrim Coffeehouse, AMC movie theater, UPS store, and more including an Asian Market; nearby convenience store and many other yums all within walking distance.
Beaches, Lakes, Wooded Trails, Mountain Views and other sight-seeing options just minutes away.
Other things to note
We live on the property and do our best to keep noise at a minimum, but you may hear some noise from time to time. We abide by our moderate cancellation policy. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.
Street parking along Linden Ave N. No parking on N 105th St. Please lock your vehicle and do not leave any items noticeable in vehicles.
The shared entrance and Laundry room are located just under a residents bed so we greatly appreciate that you open, close the door quietly and always keep in mind the Quiet Time when entering, exiting or using the laundry room.
During cold seasons, using the electric oil heaters in the Guest Space are sufficient at low to med-high. If you use the high setting, the heaters may trip the breaker.
Additional attention is needed in the Guest Bathroom: Please always use the bathroom fan while showering. Please leave the door ajar when not using it, for better ventilation. Please do not put anything other than toilet paper into the toilet. The sink is not designed for rinsing or washing dishes - Please put dirty dishes and dirty recyclables into the Dirty Dish bin provided in the Guest Space living/bedroom. Thank you greatly.
