Quiet and cozy 3 bed, 2 bath home located within a quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. This home is close to everything in town; 3 mins to Plymouth Park/pool/fun zone, 3 mins to the Midland Tennis Center, 8 mins to uptown/mall, 8 mins to The Country Club, 10 mins to Dow gardens/Library/Center for the Arts, 10 mins to MyMichigan Medical Center, & 10 mins to downtown. Our neighborhood is great for daily walks, and we have plenty of bike lanes to navigate town as well.
The space
This 3 bedroom/2 bath home is located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood and is 5-10 mins from everything in Midland City limits. There are a couple stairs (2 exactly) to enter the home but otherwise the space is all on one level with main floor laundry.
This home provides a large cohesive living/dining room, expansive kitchen, Screen/sunporch (non-climate controlled), 1 Full Bathroom off of the common areas, 1 Full Bedroom, 1 Queen Bedroom, and 1 Queen Master bedroom with Full en-suite bathroom. (Queen Air Mattress and Pack n Play are available upon request)
As you enter the front door of the home the cathedral ceilings will draw your eyes to the beautiful black brick surrounding the gas fireplace in the large living/dining space. This is the perfect place to warm up on a cool day, have a movie night, play board games with friends/family, or simply have a glass of wine and listen to a record or 2 on the record player (also has bluetooth capabilities).
Neighboring the beautiful living/dining to the left is the relaxing screen porch. Enjoy the (non-climate controlled) screen porch on spring, summer and fall days at the outdoor dining table. Drink a coffee and watch the squirrels play in the morning from the hanging egg chair. Watch your kids play in the yard or make your way outside and hang the hammock for a nap in the afternoon. Make a charcuterie board and a cocktail/mocktail and catch the sunset in the evening.
The large and fully stocked kitchen is perfect for making home cooked meals, complete with coffee/tea bar (French press and Keurig) and small sitting area. If you love to cook, you’ll have every single tool you could possibly need in this enormous kitchen! Essentials of course, but this kitchen is truly stocked with every cooking gadget you could think of! We also offer a fully stocked spice cabinet, so you won’t have to make anything bland. Impress your family and friends with your cooking skills OR microwave Mac n cheese for your 2-year-old. No matter your cooking needs you’ll be happy to do it in this kitchen! (We stock our kitchens to please our guests, if anything is missing, we welcome requests!)
When it's time to gather for a meal or play games, the dining table with seating for 6 provides the perfect space (pull up chairs for extra seating)! We provide cards and a small collection of board games, we often rotate games between our units, so they stay ever changing.
Our 2 full bathrooms provide enough space for your group or family to get ready for the day. The Main bath does have a full-size tub. Both bathrooms are stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner, Toilet Paper, Linens, Bathmats and Blow driers.
Traveling with kids or a baby? We offer plenty of toys and book for kids, and also offer highchair and pack n play on a first come first serve basis (please request when booking) Forgot something for your child? Don't hesitate to request with us, we have a child at home, and if it's something we have and are not using we may bring it over for your stay. :)
