Also enjoy a relaxing dip in our luxurious 8 person hot tub after a long day of hiking in nearby Joshua Tree National Park, just an 8 minute drive away. Guests will have access to the entire home and property and will enjoy exploring the secluded 1+ acre plot that we share with the local roadrunners, quails, and jackrabbits. Inside the home is fully remodeled and equipped with high quality kitchen amenities, cozy beds and mattresses, luxurious linen bedding, and warm, comfy furniture curated in a tasteful modern desert aesthetic.

Rancho Nopales is the perfect jumping off point to enjoy all that the high desert has to offer, located just 2 minutes' drive from Joshua Tree Village, 8 minutes to the Joshua Tree National Park main entrance, 15 minutes to La Copine, and 20 mins to Pioneertown and the famous Pappy & Harriet's.

β’ RENTAL AGREEMENT
There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation
β’ POOL
The pool is 4ft deep. NO diving is allowed at anytime. Currently, the pool is not heated so if you are booking this home in the colder months, please be aware of this. Usually in the summer the pool will be better 70s- mid 80s.
β’ OUTSIDE MUSIC
Any and all amplified outside music is not allowed per the county code. We do not supply any speakers and we do not allow any speakers at the property.
β’ PETS
Dogs can be allowed for a one time $30 per dog fee (max 2).
β’ CAMERA
Outdoor forward facing recording camera for safety and security. Never inside of the home.
The property has a security camera or recording device capable of recording or sending video, audio, or still images. We require hosts to inform guests of any such camera or device located in a common areaβeven if it will be turned off during a guest's stay. We prohibit security cameras or recording devices in private spaces like bedrooms, bathrooms, or sleeping areas.

β’ ROAD TO THE HOUSE
The road to the house is on about 1 miles dirt road. An SUV will not be needed as they are maintained dirt roads but they can be a little bumpy.
β’ A/C & Heater
Rancho Nopales is cooled and heated by central heating and air conditioning through the house and a mini split in the large bedroom with two beds to keep you comfortable all year long.
β’ FIRE
Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.
If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.
β’ HOT TUB + POOL - legal
Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the pool.
β’ GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
β’ IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.
