Its very much about island life and the natural world here. Guests come to enjoy the scenic views, hike the trails, walk the beaches, and explore the tidepools. Guests watch for local wildlife, such as eagles and herons, as well as grey and orca whales. Our tall Evergreens are a perennial draw. Other nearby activities include Possession Beach Waterfront Park, the off-leash dog parks, wineries, marinas, beach and forest walks, and the artistic town of Langley, with restaurants, galleries, and shops.
Every guest receives an individualized door code by email three days before the start of their getaway.
Hillside Haven was custom built and ADA compliant to allow for wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters from the parking in the driveway throughout the main floor. which includes the main floor king bedroom and 3/4 bath with a large curb-less shower with handrails, a wide entry, a 6-foot nozzle, and a shower chair. The sink vanity has clearance for a wheelchair. The main bedroom has a clearance of 36" around the bed and to the bathroom. Guests can enjoy a stairless entry with 36" wide hallways, entrances, and openings to rooms on the main floor. Parking is flat and is plenty wide enough for a van and another ten feet of room.
