This townhome is part of Piper Ridge, a residential community just over three miles east of the base of Stratton Mountain.
In winter a free weekend shuttle takes you to & from Stratton mountain for a day of skiing and snowboarding. Also Bromley and Magic Mountain are really close if you want to try out other local mountains. Walking distance is the Piper Club, where you can swim in the heated pool, take a dip in the hot tub, enjoy the sauna, use the fitness center, play racquetball, and use the game room equipped with pool table, ping-pong, and foosball. Day rates to use the Club facilities are $10/adult and $6/child 7-12 & free under age 7.
Come spring/summer/fall, you can play tennis at the on-sight tennis courts or at the Cliff Drysdale tennis center 3 miles away. Play golf at the 27-hole Stratton Mountain Golf Course (2-miles west). Spend your days taking scenic lift rides to hiking, mountain biking, do outdoor yoga atop the mountain, paddle boarding and kayaking, tubing & fly-fishing on the Battenkill River . There are great local farmer's markets in the area and Live outdoor music on Friday nights in Bondville. Bromley, 15 mins away, has a fantastic adventure park with a built in Alpine slide.
