Let our guest bedroom be your home-away-from home. The super comfy full-size bed in a sunny room with a garden view will help you snooze your cares away. If you need snuggles, the dogs and cats are happy to help you out.
Household includes husband and wife nearing retirement (joy!) and two traveling professionals that rent rooms in a separate part of the house, 2-3 dogs and lots of indoor/outdoor cats.
Comfortable country neighborhood with gorgeous Mt. Baker view just ten minutes from I-5.
The space
This room is on the main floor of the house, on the south side, so lots of good sun and a pretty garden view.
You will walk through the den on your way to the bathroom. There are two other full bathrooms in the house, so your pre-work routine should not have to be scheduled around anyone else's needs.
The kitchen is well-planned and easy to work in and there is a large deck on the North and West sides of the house.
We run our farm business, Flower Feather Farm, Specialty Chicks and Dahlias, on this property, so there are frequently baby chicks hatching in the hatching room and/or hanging out in brooders in the laundry room until they are big enough to go outside.
We have two full-time dogs and several part-time dogs, depending on which family members are traveling. Six cats are in charge of mice and are frequently draped across the numerous pet beds in the house.
The house is professionally cleaned once a week -- your room can be included in this at your discretion and cost.
