Howdy! Our home is a former shipping container, in SA's downtown Southtown neighborhood, Lone Star district. A 450 square foot home with outdoor patio sleeps up to 4 people with 2 off-street parking spaces.
Close to a Riverwalk entrance at Blue Star Art Complex.
Craft breweries, restaurants, museums, beer gardens, Mexican paleta/snow cone shops, taquerias, bars, even a flour mill restaurant are in the neighborhood. Any questions on location/home, please contact us.

The space
Queen size bed and full size sleeper sofa.
Home size is between a "tiny" to "small" home. ln its former life, prior to a complete remodel- the home was a freight shipping container.
Home has a great outdoor patio, good for indoor/outdoor living.
2 off-street compact vehicle parking spaces (with gate open). 1 off-street parking space for medium size vehicle (with gate closed).
Home has on-street parking directly in front for another car, but restricted during school days.
Neighborhood is gentrifying, urban up & coming neighborhood along the Mission Reach Riverwalk section. Newer renovated homes mixed with older homes. Close to freeway. Convenience to downtown, Southtown restaurants and freeway is great.
A huge "1st Friday" art/food/street event happens every first Friday of the month in the neighborhood. Head to Blue Star Arts Complex which anchors the event. "2nd Saturday" is a FREE monthly Artwalk event occurring every second Saturday of every month in the neighborhood.***
We suggest bike rental, "Bird" scooters, Uber & of course your car for long distances. Late night, consider driving/Uber.

Home is open floor plan. A curtain is available to provide semi-privacy between the bedroom & the rest of the home if needed.
An alarm monitors the premises, and you can turn it on nightly for enhanced protection.
Pets: We may allow up to one pet per stay. There are several pet friendly restaurants in the area. We will send a list. Note: front fence is decorative, and pets should be supervised in yard.
There is an additional pet cleaning fee of $35. Pets are not allowed on furniture and should be crated or on leash if owner is not home. We request clean up after your pet. Any additional pets over the 1 pet policy must be requested, and are subject to an additional $100 charge per additional pet. A lint roller is provided in the home to please clean up after any pet hair.
If not home, we request pets MUST be kenneled. We provide kennels if you don't have one.
South Texas & Mosquitoes: This is South Texas, and this house has a good sized yard. Rest assured, we perform regularly scheduled pest control maintenance indoors every 2 months & the house is cleaned after every guest to ensure top sanitary conditions. Please keep the door closed and evict any unwanted guests (insect(s)) if they follow you inside.
