Are you looking for a unique place to spice up your trip? Have you ever slept in a bubble? Well come try it out! This is truly a once in a lifetime find. When you stay in our inflatable bubbles on the farm with an enormous pool, not only do you get to experience something new and exciting, you also have access to so many fun things to do! The coolest part? The top is transparent so you can fall asleep wishing on a star.
The space
The inflatable bubbles are anchored to a sturdy wooden deck and inflated with an air blowers. There is a retractable awning that covers each bubble reducing the green-house effect during the daytime and can be opened to reveal the beautiful skyline during the day or the wonderous starlit sky at night.
Inside you’ll find a cozy king bed that can comfortably sleep up to three guests (2 adults and 1 child).
There is air conditioning and heating inside as well as a full private bathroom. The bathroom even has a clawfoot tub! Toiletries are provided for you during your stay.
The bubble is located in Sam Houston National Forest on a beautiful ranchette of almost 10 acres. On the ranchette you’ll be able to see chickens, turkeys (seasonal), goats, pigs, rabbits and a garden near the home as well as livestock grazing in the pastures. Wildlife is present in the forest so there are some food restrictions inside the bubble to keep you safe. (See “rules to keep in mind”)
A pathway that is clear during the day and perfectly lit for your convenience at night, takes you directly to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. There, you will have access to a BBQ pit, an outdoor pavilion, pool, hot tub and pool house. If you’d like to have some fun, games like corn hole, oversized connect four, water volleyball and horseshoes for you to enjoy. If you’d like to relax, kick back in a hammock and take a nap in the fresh breeze.
The fire pit is open to all guests! Feel free to make s’mores, hot dogs, burgers or whatever you’d like! Campfires are the perfect way to end any summer day.
Guest access
Backyard including pool and you are welcomed to interact with the farm animals.
Interactions with the neighbor's animals are strictly prohibited.
Other things to note
Rules to keep in mind:
Shoes are not to be worn in the bubble, a shoe rack is provided. We want to ensure that there are no holes or anything that could cause the bubble to deflate.
Smoking or exposed flames - i.e. cigarettes, candles is prohibited.
This ensures that the bubble stays clean and clear. The flames can be a hazard and cause melting and other damage to the bubble.
Food is restricted in the bubble; coffee, tea, drinks and wines are acceptable. There are wild animals within the forest. We want them to stay in their home and away from yours! The food and smells can bring the curious animals in, so leave it out! Please note that the property is fenced and cross-fenced for added safety.
No flushing anything other than bodily excrements down the toilets. The ranchette runs on a septic system and cannot handle other objects being flushed.
The main house and Norton’s Shop are off limits to guests. Please be respectful of the owners that live on the property.
No pets or service animals allowed. This is for the safety of your animals as we do not wish them to be the main course of wild animals.
