This large home has been converted into two spacious comfortable post and beam townhouses with all modern amenities. They are 3000+ square feet each. All rooms have high ceilings and hardwood floors. Your host resides on site and is available to assist you during your visit in any way you may need (including granting you your privacy!)
We are just a few miles from the Exit 2 interchange on the Mass Pike, making it easy to find us, as well as to use us as your home base to explore the area.
With 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, the home can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. The first floor bedroom has a queen size bed and its own bath. The second floor has three additional bedrooms. The master has a queen size bed and its own bathroom. It has oversized windows that face the sunrise over the Housatonic River and Beartown Mountain. Shades have been added for those who would like to sleep late. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed. Bedroom #3 has a queen size bed. Bedroom #2 & #3 share a hall bathroom. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is open to two lovely seating areas, one with a fireplace , and the dining area. The private patio, surrounded by lovely perennial gardens, is equipped with a gas grill and large table for al fresco dining. There is a large grassy area abutting the woodlands at the rear of the 2-acre lot.
One and a half miles from the iconic Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, short drive to Tanglewood, Kripalu, skiing in winter and walking trails all year round.
