You will love this bright, stylish, and comfortable space (the owner is a producer for HGTV!) and find the fully remodeled kitchen and bathroom, along with cozy beds and comfy rooms, make this space the perfect "home away from home." The home is within 20 minutes of everything you'll want to see including the sports fields, rivers and bridges, shopping, museums, historical sites, music venues, universities and more!
Our home has an elegant, simple, and fresh feel. On the first floor you will find our kitchen, living room, and dining room. The living room is great for gathering, or relaxing with a nice book in the reading nook. Attached to the living room is a cozy sun room with a TV. The dining room is spacious and comfortably seats 6. There is also a private patio which is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee/tea. Upstairs, you will find a master bedroom and two guest rooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, plenty of storage for your belongings, and a private office attached in case you need to get some work done. One guest room has a queen size bed, and the other has a full size bed. The newly renovated bathroom has a bath tub/shower. The entire home is flooded with uplifting natural light, and has some beautiful nature views from the second floor. In the basement, you will find another TV room, access to the garage, and the washer/dryer.
Guests will have access to the home via an electronic keypad on the front door.

Our home has a very private feel in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. It's perfect if you want to feel at home, while still being close to all that Pittsburgh has to offer.
The location is an easy commute to Oakland, Shadyside, and East Liberty, as well as many of the local hospitals, universities and businesses.
We utilize this house as a family while I am working in the Pittsburgh area and then rent it out when we are on hiatus. We do have some of our son's toys in our unfinished basement family room. Feel free to play with them, if you have kiddos (or are a kid at heart!).
- NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ARE ALLOWED. If guests break this rule, they will be charged an additional (minimum) fee of $2500 to cover the deep cleaning services needed.
- Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm
-Check-in is at 4:00 pm.
-Check-out is at 10:00 am.
-Guests checking out more than 30 minutes late will be charged for an extra day.
- Guests must be at least 25 years of age (unless with a parent). This is much like renting a car.
- For safety and to assure that our home is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor that is unhealthy and/or objectionable to future guests there is to be no smoking, of any kind, inside the home. This includes cigarettes, marijuana, hookahs, incense, vapes, etc. If evidence of any smoking is found in the home (odor, ashes, etc.), guests will be charged $550 for the order of an odor removal/air purification process.
-Guests are expected to respect the neighbors.
-No unauthorized guests in the home -- even to visit.
-If items are left behind and require being returned, guests are responsible for the price of shipping plus a $10 handling fee.
-For guests who book an early check-in or late check-out, these fees are non-refundable should a guest decide to cancel their reservation.
-We cannot always accommodate a reservation or date change alteration, or provide exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please keep that in mind when booking your stay. We recommend buying travel insurance.
-For stays longer than a week, we will provide supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc.) to get you started, but long-term guests are expected to restock supplies or themselves during their stay.
-Airbnb requires us to remind guests in the house rules that there are cameras on the premises. They are recording both audio and video at all times. Please note that they are not checked or viewed unless needed. They are there to protect our investment and for the safety of our guests.
