The Land:
45 acres welcomes you and your family. Giggling Creek includes the acreage surrounding the cottage. Feel free to head into the hills for a walk while enjoying the fresh country air.
The Cottage:
The cottage itself was renovated in 2021 and some minor renovations are under way. We loved the eras of 40s-70s, and made Giggling Creek Cottage as representative of that era as possible without cutting corners on comfort. We also love gaming and for folks with kiddos (big or small) you'll be delighted with our arcade section. We also just included a BedJet for the Master Bedroom King Size Bed.
Cottage comes equipped with a coffee machine for the coffee lovers. A dedicated effort was made to consider the needs of guests and we invite you to check our reviews to see how we have performed for other guests.
Amenities include King sized Mbr bed, Bunk Beds, Zoned Hvac, Gazebo with Heater, Arcade, Xbox, Nintendo Simulator, Firepit, and so much more!

The cottage is 2 Bedrooms and 1 Bath with an en suite to the sole bathroom. The cottage is suited for small families and can technically sleep 8 folks with a bunk bed (with trundle) in the Second Bedroom. Each sleeping and living area has zoned cooling and heating and the whole home has central oil heat for emergencies controlled by Nest. Each room also has a newer ceiling fan and there is a utility room with a full sized washer and dryer. Mbr has a portable crib for those families with very young children.
In the children room/2br there is an arcade which has racing games, fighting games, etc. In addition, an office was made as an addition (painted a bright orange) which has a TV for laptop/office set up. It also has a Nintendo Modular for the gamers. There is an Xbox One in the Living Room that serves as the main player for blu rays and Dvds.
The cottage is next to an open garage which two workshops sit. These workshops on top of garage are restricted (minor renovations ongoing) for your safety, but feel free to roam the other buildings on the 45 acres. The farm used to have several livestock and chickens. You can even see the old chicken coop from the back porch.
A gazebo was part of the 2022 Spring update which has a grill and outside seating. There is also a fire pit with several Adirondack chairs for additional outside seating. The front porch facing the street is a favorite for outdoor seating. Essentially, 3 areas for outdoor lounging.
The yard is fenced and dogs are welcome with a 50usd charge for the entire stay. We ask that you please clean up after your pets and place droppings in dumpster--tools for cleanup are provided. Only declawed cats are welcome to stay at the moment. No other pets are permitted.
There is a team that works to keep you comfortable led by a Chief of Staff (Amanda) that is 7 minutes away for any troubleshooting/issues, and hosting team is extremely responsive. An active team of four individuals keep Giggling Creek operational with exceptional customer experience as the #1 operating principle.

Enjoy the fire pit with your family, have a cup of coffee on the porch swing while listening to the creek giggle or take in the sights on top of the knoll up the driveway for a short hike around the 45 acres.
The owners love all games so there are several indoor and outdoor games to keep you entertained. Corn Hole set-up is in a black case in the Mbr. Outdoor lawn darts are also available along with a tree swing (requires adult supervision and care). Indoor games include Monopoly, Jenga, Connect 4, etc. Firepit chairs are in the open-air garage, and dont forget the new patio with outdoor seating, grill and propane heater (new for August 2021).
For those with older kids, Xbox One with several games are also available, or watch the multiple Blu Ray movies provided.
Additional Amenities:
Hot and cold water dispenser with distilled water is available for your enjoyment, as well as premium coffee--Nespresso Vertuo for those coffee snobs. ;)
For those old schoolers, enjoy the vinyl record player—which is also available for guests to use. Elvis, Mj, Glady Knight, Wu Tang, Temptations, Drake and a few others make up our collection.
The Mbr and Kid rooms have all brand new mattresses (King and Full, respectively) as of May 2021.
