This lovely bed and breakfast cottage is situated in a wooded setting near Mt. Airy in Virginia. It has a private master suite and a bunk room. There is a large dining and family room area where everybody can enjoy spending time and discussing the activities of the day. The cottage features a large covered deck porch. There are two full baths, a washer, dryer, central heating, and air conditioning for the warmer months. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a TV and DVD player are provided with DVDs. Extra sleeping is available in the family area with a large futon. Linens and towels are provided, and, upon arrival, guests will receive coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and popcorn. There is a hammock out back for relaxing in and enjoying a spot of deer-watching.This property offers a five-acre fishing lake and a private in-ground swimming pool for relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of city noise. Guests can also enjoy a trip on the property's fishing boat, with paddles and life jackets provided. The lake has a private pier where guests will find a table, chairs, and an umbrella. A playhouse with swings and a sandbox await the energy and laughter of youngsters up on the hillside, in view of the cows and their little calves. There is also a guest library on-site, and a full country breakfast available daily for farmhouse guests. There is a range of snacks available along with satellite television, DVDs, and Wi-Fi. There is a paved picnic area with a grill available for a special outdoor dining experience.
