Quiet street located on a dead end street so no through traffic. There are so many birds to watch including the beautiful red Cardinals and their mates. All new furniture with all new mattresses. Since I love Nashville and music I have done a music theme in the home I am from Bakersfield, CA so you will see Merle Haggard and Buck Owens' album covers on the wall. Also from Robert's Western World in Nashville Brazil Billy. Vince Gill and Paul Franklin with their Bakersfield Sound covers. My property is located 73.8 miles from Nashville Airport 1hr 13 minutes. The home is conveniently located right off I 40 but not close enough to hear any traffic noise. So after you enjoy Broadway and all Nashville has to offer plan on coming to Cookeville and enjoy the Cummins Falls State Park, 3 minute drive to City Lake which has 2 waterfalls and is a great hiking area, Dogwood Park, Hidden Hollow Park, Cookeville Depot Museum, Tennessee Legend Distillery and Red Silo Brewing Company, Hix Farm Brewery, Cookeville History Museum. Home is located 1.8 miles from Lanes Bend a popular wedding venue. Our home is located 2.21 hours to Dollywood, 1.37 hours to Knoxville when traffic is good. Many great restaurants my favorite Cracker Barrel and Cheddar's and many more. Instead of having the travelers pay $59.00 for a non refundable damage insurance policy I have a $700.00 refundable damage deposit. I just added this note on 1/10 2025 all my guests through VRBO have been great and I have in 3 years of hosting never had to deduct damage from the refundable deposit. If you choose to pay the non refundable insurance cover of $59.00 I can remove the refundable damage deposit. On my other houses that I have hosted for 15 years the guests who elect to pay the refundable damage deposit 99.9 % of the time those guests get the whole amount refunded within a couple of days when the cleaner goes in and tells me all is in good shape. If you damage anything or leave stains on bedding that won't wash out the cost of replacement will be deducted. If you are traveling with pets there is $100.00 plus tax per pet. Please answer the question that you will have a pet when making the reservation so VRBO collects the fee at the time of booking. If traveling with additional pets message me that you are. The additional fee will be requested. There is a completely fence huge backyard also a dog kennel.
There is a Ring Door Bell Camera located by the front exterior door. I captures motion from cars diving up the drive way and activity on the front lawn and at the front door if someone rings the bell the Ring Chime sounds are dogs barking and the Chime is plugged in by the bar. There are no internal cameras in the house.
